The TBS-101 sonar preamplifier / signal conditioner was
developed by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC)
and licensed to MTI, Ltd. for commercialization. It is
used in the U.S. Navy’s most advanced towed array sonar
systems. It provides all the analog signal conditioning
functions required between a sonar hydrophone and an
analog-to-digital (A/D) converter. The TBS-101
incorporates:
a low-noise preamplifier
a stepped gain amplifier
an anti-aliasing filter, and
a digitally controlled
calibration circuit
TBS-101 - 20L 4x4 mm MLPQ
